Removing Programs from Windows Vista |
For a variety of reasons it sometimes becomes necessary to remove a program from Windows Vista. Fortunately the system provides a methodology to do just that.
First, open the Control Panel in Classic view.
Double-click on the "Programs and Features" icon. The Uninstall or change a program window will open and populate itself with a list of programs. This may take a little time.
Find the program you wish to remove and select it.
When a program is selected, options appear near the top of the window including "Uninstall." Click on it to begin the removal process. Some programs may require rebooting the computer to complete the removal process. Note that there are options available along the left side of the window as well as under the "Organize" option.
